3 Tips to Clean the Dishwasher
Let's face it, one chore which many people do not like to do is wash the dishes. Thankfully, we have dish washing machines that can take that laborious chore and reduce it by several minutes. However, after cleaning the dishes countless times, even dishwashers themselves get dirty. That's why we're addressing 3 places you need to clean your dishwasher to keep it in a perfect condition.
First, take off the strainer cap and make sure no debris is lodged into the drain. There can be some nasty stuff in there, so it might be a good idea to wear gloves.
Next, if your dishwasher has a mat on the bottom, look underneath it. Detergent crud can build up and impede performance, so clean this out with vinegar and scrubbing.
Lastly, let's clean those spinners. A good technique is to duct tape the small holes and pour vinegar inside the large one. Let it soak for at least 15 minutes, then scrub it with a wire brush.
