If you have a dirty iron that needs cleaning, we have 3 tips from the DIY Network on how to clean it!
First, clean off the bottom by turning your iron to its lowest heat setting with no steam. Then, use dryer sheets to scrub the gunk off of it.
For the steam chamber, pour in equal parts water and white vinegar, turn it to cotton setting, and put the steamer up all the way. Keep steaming until the chamber is empty; once it is, you don't have to clean it, as it won't harm your clothes or make them smell like vinegar!
Finally, to take care of a burn on the iron, scrub a paste of white vinegar and table salt on it with a soft rag. It'll come right off!
