How To Edge Your Garden Bed
Does your garden bed use black plastic to keep roots from growing in the yard? There's not need anymore! All you need to do is create some space between the garden and yard. This space will dry out the roots as they attempt bridge the gap. All you'll need to make the gap is a metal edger, a tool with a half moon metal head for just this job.
First, determine where your garden bed's edge will be. If you're making a new bed line, measure it out with a garden hose. Then, push the edger's head into the ground all the way and pop up the soil a bit to make the space. That's all you need to keep roots from taking root in your yard!
