Learn About Pellet Stoves

 

For many centuries fire has been used to keep mankind warm and to heat his dwellings. As man moved into houses, the fireplace became a mainstay, and even a focal point for most homes. Since that time, the fireplace has had a few advances in design, but not too many.

Recently, with the advance of technology and mechanics, new heating devices have made their way into houses all over the world. Fireplaces and wood stoves are still used, but mainly for decor. Ignoring the gas forced air technology and other related technologies, there have been advances in the way we burn materials to keep our homes warm.

One such advance is the pellet stove. This handy little device combines a simple air heating system with a few other mechanical simple tools to create a new way to get heat from tiny pellets, which are packed with lots firepower.
